Carlos Gutierrez

Hello, my name is Carlos Gutierrez. I am currently a freshman studying Economics and looking to broaden my studies to include Political Science and Philosophy. I have volunteered for various community service and volunteer programs and I have really come to enjoy serving a community and working with others to see something get accomplished. Serving on the ASUCM Senate would allow me to be the voice for my fellow students, particularly my fellow freshman peers. It is vital that as new students to this campus, we take part in the molding of its culture and become an integral part of our schools development without hesitation. As a freshman, I understand this important transition in our lives and will be seeking to helping voice any and all concerns or wishes that you may have, and implement them into our school. I would like the opportunity to display my leadership abilities and my dedicated work ethic to further improve this growing and thriving campus. As your Senator, I can assure you that I will always be accessible, honest, hard-working, and a great listener to your opinions. I can further assure you that I will commit to serving you fully by advocating on your behalf. I stand for some basic yet essential qualities that I believe will allow me to represent you in a competent manner. I believe that leaders should be endowed and committed to serving with responsibility, integrity, passion, and vision. This is what I offer you. Thank you.
