Running for Senator at Large

 

Hello, fellow Bobcats, 

 

My name is Manni Nunez, and I am running for Senator At-Large for the Associated Students of UC Merced. I’m a Santa Barbara native, but I have had a chance to experience life in California’s Central Valley for a few years. ASUCM has definitely grown on me, and I would love to be a greater part of this organization. If elected senator, I would focus my efforts on creating a more inclusive Bobcat community.

 

Aside from being involved in several organizations, I have also had the opportunity to work with current ASUCM senators on their committees, and I’ve seen the changes they’ve made at UC Merced, some so significant that they have reached the University of California President Janet Napolitano’s attention. I know that my influence as Senator will bring about positive change here in UC Merced.
